GolfNow is an online booking service for tee times at golf courses. Originally established in 2001 by Cypress Golf Solutions in Scottsdale, Arizona, US, it was acquired by Comcast via its Golf Channel unit in March 2008.

Requirements
  1. There are multiple versions of on-prem GolfNow. POS+ supports:
    • 9.05 SP1
  2. Additional versions may require development. Partners are responsible for the development costs needed to support any additional version.

Important Notes

Once a payment flow has been built for a software, it becomes available to all users.

Critical Notes
  1. Payment Links: Payment links do not automatically reconcile with on-premise software. This functionality may be supported through additional development.
  2. GolfNow Compatibility: There are multiple versions of the on-premise GolfNow software. POS+ currently supports GolfNow 9.05 SP1.
  3. Additional Versions: Support for other GolfNow versions may require additional development. Partners are responsible for any development costs associated with supporting an additional version.
  4. Supported Modules: POS+ supports both Retail and Food & Beverage (F&B) modules.

Reconciliation Payment Type

This is the payment type/tender type POS+ uses when reconciling a transaction to the software's ledger. Where possible, POS+ will reconcile a transaction as payment type 'POS+' with the gateway authorization code written in the notes or memo field. If the POS+ payment type cannot be created in the software, POS+ will choose the next best option.

For this integration, the reconciliation payment type is: POS+

It is your responsibility to add the correct payment type to the software. Failure to do so will break the reconciliation flow.

Integration Type

This integration requires the On- Prem software to be installed.

Support 

  1. Turn off two factor authentication where possible. This can prevent POS+ access.  
  2. Ensure the software username and password in the POS+ portal are always up to date. This can prevent POS+ access 
  3. If the integration does not work AND you are on the correct invoice page in the software, please contact POS+.
