This article outlines the technical characteristics, compatibility requirements, supported processor platforms, and approved software versions for SwipeSimple with BroadPOS. SwipeSimple provides a flexible payment acceptance solution across mobile devices, countertop terminals, and computer-based virtual terminals, while BroadPOS enables processor connectivity for supported acquirers.

Important: SwipeSimple does not support eCommerce. All transactions must be card-present or manually keyed through the Virtual Terminal.

SwipeSimple is a cloud-based payment application that supports:

  • Countertop and mobile card-present transactions

  • Virtual Terminal transactions from a web browser

  • Invoices, digital receipts, and reporting

  • Tip management, employee tracking, and item catalogs (POS features vary by configuration)

BroadPOS acts as the payment middleware on supported terminals, enabling secure processor communication for approved acquirers.
