Valor Portal | How to Resend Valor Verification/Activation Emails

Overview

This article outlines how to resend verification and activation emails in Valor, along with password reset instructions and steps for gaining portal access.

In this article:

Step 1: Send Verification Email

  1. Navigate to User Management in the sidebar menu.

  2. Select the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the user.

  3. Click Send Verification Email.

  Important Notes

The notification is sent to the mobile number first, followed by email.

Email status indicators:

❌ X icon = Email not verified

✔✔ Double check marks = Email verified

 

Once the email is verified, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Resend Account Activation

Method 1 (Individual User)
  1. Navigate to User Management.
  2. Click the hyperlinked email address of the user.
  3. Select the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to Last Seen.
  4. Choose Resend Activation.
Method 2 (Bulk or Checkbox Selection)
  1. Navigate to User Management.
  2. Check the box next to the user(s).
  3. Click the Action button.
  4. Select Resend Activation.

Result:
The user will be prompted to create a password.

 

Reset Password

If a user needs to reset their password:

  1. Navigate to User Management in the sidebar Menu.
  2. Select the checkbox next to the user you wish to send the Reset Password Link.
  3. Click ActionReset Password.

Note:
The reset link is sent via SMS first, then email.

 

Gaining Online Portal Access

  1. Once the account is created by the Sales Representative, the user receives an activation email.
  2. Open the link and create a password.
  3. After setup, log in to the online portal

Creating a Portal Password (Merchant)

Once an Account has been created in the Portal, the merchant will receive an SMS and Email providing you with an Activation Link. 

  1. Click the activation link received via SMS or email.
  2. Create a password that meets the following requirements:
    1. Minimum 6 characters
    2. At least 1 uppercase letter
    3. At least 1 lowercase letter
    4. At least 1 numeric digit
  3. Enter the password in both fields and click Confirm.
